Aldershot & District Centenary - Bus Running Day - 27th May 2012

This was held at the private FIVE bus station at Farnborough airfield.

I travelled there on NPJ472R Alder Valley fleet number 251. Most of the bodywork is prepared for repainting which should very soon. It was decided by the owners to run the bus in this condition as it was a local vehicle. We ran some services during the day, 3 to Cove, plus an unplanned trip to Farnham.

Some photos of NPJ are shown below. These will probably be the last ones i take before the repaint.

A genuine former owner, not a spoof. Applied for one day only.

A 4 train service was operating today and as I wasn't rostered, I decided to take some photos in the Alton station area. I have a PTS certificate which allows me lineside where most photos were taken from.

Bournemouth - May 2012

I was in Bournemouth as a delegate to the Prospect Biennial National Conference. As well as attending the conference I found time to take some photos.
