This pub visit was once again organised by the Weekly Wind Up. Leyland National LPB218P was the transport to and from Chelmsford station. I arrived at Chelmsford station early which gave me and a couple of others time to have a quick drink in 4 pubs near the station. The Alehouse, Barista, Plough and Railway Tavern were the pubs.
The it was bus time. Owner Steve Simister was also driving the National tonight.
The rest of the photos were taken at the pub. This is the only pub in the UK named The Viper by the way.
I write about real ale drinking and pubs. The Watercress Line heritage railway. Preserved Leyland National buses. Co-owner of a preserved Dennis Dart bus. Also visiting other heritage railways, beer festivals and other trips. Comments welcome.

B&CP Bus Rally 22nd July 2012
This was held at the Newbury Showground. Advertised as having 250 buses there, we counted about 100.
NPJ472R was our transport there.
There was a good variety of vehicles there with some of them do free rides on the internal roads there.
Here are my photos.
A quick trip to Newbury station and back.
