A visit to to the 11th Redhill beer festival conveniently located a couple of minutes walk from Merstham station.

The highlight would have been a beer from the new Godstone brewery but unfortunately it was not ready to be sold.

A number of green hop beers were tasted here. Green hops are those that are harvested from the bine and go into the beer without being dried out first.

A favourite beer festival of mine. Set in a wonderful little community pub in Henlow. The Engineers Arms epitomises what a community pub should be.

I got there by train to Arlesey station, then a 25 minute walk along the footpath past The Grange/

The Oxford CAMRA beer festival

On the Saturday they have a separate bar for beers on sale Saturday only.

This was the stillage for the previous 2 days

A great little pub very close to Canonbury station.

A fine venue for a beer festival. Once again I didn't win any money, but then again I didn't lose any either.
