Wet Worthing Wander

My friends were taking their newly painted Leyland National NPJ472R to Worthing Bus Rally so I got a lift there, the aim being to visit a few pubs.

Unfortunately the weather was not good, windy and raining.

The main aim was to visit 2 micropubs. Both recently opened by friends of mine coincidentally.

First stop was Nick's micropub - The Brooksteed Alehouse.

Two beers were had here: Park Brewery: Driftway and Bradford - Odsal Top

The walk in cellar is a good idea.

Then I visited 2 Wetherspoons pubs.

Next stop was the Alehouse & Kitchen brewpub

3 thirds of their were tried

Final stop was nigels's micropub - Anchored.

A quick three thirds were had here, as the bus was leaving slightly earlier than originally planned due to the inclement weather. beers were Rother Valley - Anthem, Goldstone - Amarillo and Brighton Bier - Dealer's Choice Black IPA (Citra/Equinox).

My BF50 Challenge update 18

My first visit to a beer fest organised by Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead for many years. Previous festivals have been the same weekend as Alton Bus Rally.

Some great beers and reasonable company including Roy G, Stephen J and Rob B.
