A couple of years ago my Dad moved to Harwich/Dovercourt. This particular day I had arranged to go for lunch in a pub in Harwich with him, my Sister and Brother-In-Law. The occasion being my sisters birthday.
My train arrived at Harwich Town station on time giving me a good half hour to have a wander around and take some photos of things I like.
This structure caught my eye.
A bit of internet research revealed it was the Harwich Train Ferry Berth, a Grade 2 listed structure.
A bit further down the road a view looking across to Felixstowe.
This boat is part of the Trinity House fleet.
A couple of buildings I liked the look of.
Thanks to Ian H for pointing out that the building above is the former Great Eastern Railway Hotel.
Another boat (with description)
The RNLI
And finally my pub for lunch

The Alma Inn is also a Grade 2 listed building.
4 real ales were available.
The food was delicious and I highly reccomend it.
