Stourbridge - Day 2 June 2024

A visit to the Severn Valley Railway today.

The day started with a train from Stourbridge Town to Stourbridge Junction.

 At Stourbridge Junction

train to Kiddderminster and a short walk to the SVR station.

This was not in use.

This was my train to Bridgnorth hauled by Class 17 number D8568

At Bewdley we were late departing due to alpacas on the line, I took these photos waiting for departure.

At Hampton Loade we had to wait for the steam service to pass us

Arrived at Bridgnorth

After some beer in the Railwaymans Arms on the platfoorm at Bridgnorth it was eventually time to depart back to Kidderminster.

And some photos taken upon arrival at Kidderminster.

I then got the trian from Kidderminster to Stourbridge Juction. A shor walk took me to the Seven Stars

Conference finished at lunchtime and after I had completed my duties I got a train to Stourbridge Town.

After checking in at my hotel, I headed out for a few beers.
