Heathrow Pods

A little journey on a different form of public transport.

Driverless pods transport passengers from Heathrow Terminal 5 to car parks outside the airport on a dedicated system of roadways.

I used this document to find the starting point in Terminal 5.

I travelled from T5 car park A, then car park B, then back to T5.

A word of warning. Usage is monitored and you may find like me that your journeys get cancelled after a couple rides. After all it is for car park users primarily.

A Day Trip to Swanage

Since 13th June it has been been possible to travel to Swanage by rail from the National network.

Services now run from Wareham to Swanage.

I travelled on the 1115 Wareham to Swanage.

Then on 1240 Swanage to Corfe Castle. Photos from the station and in the village.

The 1440 Corfe Castle to Wareham with final lot of pictures taken at Wareham station.

ADBIG 2017 Spring Tour

A day out on Alder Valley 251 (NPJ472R).

I travelled on the tour as a guest of my friend Paul. More about ADBIG on there website here.

251 is pictured at home depot before departure from Aldershot station.
