Waterloo to Weymouth on a hot summer day on a slam door unit.
A brief stop at Haslemere
Whilst at Haslemere an unexpected visitor passed through the station
A brief stop at Brockenhurst
And at our destination - Weymouth for a 4 hour break
A brief stop at Bournemouth on the way home
And back at Waterloo
I write about real ale drinking and pubs. The Watercress Line heritage railway. Preserved Leyland National buses. Co-owner of a preserved Dennis Dart bus. Also visiting other heritage railways, beer festivals and other trips. Comments welcome.

The Flush D'Or Railtour
23/07/05
Run by South Eastern Trains. I have taken some information from the Southern Electric Group website which I acknowledge as some of my notes are a bit vague.
Units 3471 and 3590 worked the train throughout.
The tour started at Blackfriars.
First stop was Margate
Then on to Deal where the train reversed (sans passengers)
Back up to Chislehurst and another reversal
And on to Ore
And Hastings
Finishing the tour at London Bridge
