A Summer Challenge - Bonus Station

Although not on my list I really like Cockfosters station with its almost  Quite a change from other Hoden designed platforms, built in 1933 it has futuristic looks for its time. The use of concrete became a lot more fashionable with the later brualist architecyure of the 1950s and 60s.

In all the excitement of taking photos of the platforms and ticket hall hall, I forgot to take any photos of the outside. So here is one from Geograph.


The main attraction here is the concrete trainshed, plus there also plenty of other period features.
