A walk along part of the Basingstoke Canal

Following my little railway ride I walked along the |Basingstoke Canal to Ash Viaduct (Aqueduct).

A map of the canal route is shown below:

 I walked the bit from just North of Mytchet to Ash

Lots of photos taken:

 

I only saw one boat moving along the canal

and onwards

Finally my endpoint, the Ash Aqueduct:

I then joined the Blackwater Valley path
