A visit to Old Dairy Brewery

Saturday 10th March.

I went here as part of a Woking Beer Festival helpers trip. The Old Dairy Brewery is located near Rolvenden in Kent. We had a coach from Woking station to take us there. We also stopped at a couple of pubs on the way home.

Four different beers for us to sample
We all had an excellent time at the brewery. I only drank the Gold Top, but sampled the other 3 as well. They also provided some food, which appreciated by all. Thanks to all there for a great visit.

The coach then took us to Tunbridge Wells and dropped us outside the Royal Oak. A few of us decided to walk into town to visit the local Wetherspoons pub. I don't normally take photos of Wetherspoons pubs but in this case I made an exception. The Opera House is in fact an old opera house and has been refurbished into a pub very well. Shame that the beer I chose wasn't as good. (Franklins premium ale was a locale but that was the best thing about it). Anyway the photos below give an idea of why I wanted to go there.

And then a walk back to the Royal Oak where I had an excellent pint of Dark Star - Golden Gate.

The final stop was at the Old Eden in Edenbridge where I had a couple of pints of Westerham - Old Eden Ale.
