Todays main event was going to Railfest at the National Railway Museum in York.
Lots to see here and below are a number of photos of the exhibits there. It was raining a lot of the time so some photos are not that good.

Then a couple of beers in York. First stop Brigantes for a half of each of Copthorne Gold and Elgoods Hound of the Basketballs.

Next pub was going to be The Maltings but as it was closed for a few days for refurbishment I went to my final pub for York, The recently opened York Tap on the station itself. 20 handpumps are available for real ale here and I settled for a pint of Sunny Republic - Huna Red

And back to Leeds. Just outside the station is the Brewery Tap owned by Leeds Brewery. Here I had a half of Acorn - Newport IPA

The next stop was the delightful Grove. A 4 roomed gem of a pub stood defiantly in an area of redvelopment.
Halves of Elland - Yorkshire Lager and Ridgeside Cascade were drunk here.

And almost next door to the Cross Keys for a half of Kirkstall - North Test Brew Prototype 4.

Next stop was the Town Hall Tavern for a pint of Timothy Taylor - Golden Best and some food.

And the final stop of the day was the Fox & Newt. A numer of halves drunk here. Burley Street Brewhouse - The Brickyard, SPA Francochamps, Laguna Seca, IPA, Salamander - Tillerman.
